Move Out Reminders

  • Schedule utilities to be turned off on the last day of the lease, which is always the last day of the month EVEN IF YOU MOVE OUT EARLIER. This includes the final pick up and removal of your trash receptacle. Note: You CANNOT count on trash pick up past your move out date

  • Clean the Property thoroughly and leave in a condition free of all trash, debris, and any personal property. If anything has to be hauled off or disposed of the cost will be deducted from your deposit. See Exhibit B of lease for examples of approximate costs if you do not complete the cleaning as required.

  • Professionally clean carpet; a receipt is required.If you have had a pet, a “pet treatment” (inclusive of pet enzymes) must be performed along with the carpet cleaning and stated on the receipt.

  • Surrender the Property by turning in any keys, remotes, pool cards, etc. along with your carpet receipt and forwarding address, labeled appropriately, to the Keller Williams office at 1801 S Mopac #100 or to our Dripping Springs office at 222 Mercer Street. The Dripping Springs location has a black lockbox on the front porch that can be utilized 24/7. Failure to return these items indicates you have NOT surrendered the property and you will be charged the daily rental rate until we receive them.

Upon receipt of keys the unit will be walked by our field manager who will report his findings to the office. We have 30 days to process. We must compare your initial inventory condition with our previous walk notes, complete any needed repairs and wait for invoices from our vendors for work to be done then determine your refund amount and/or deductions, if any. Remember all of our move outs are at the end of the month so we have multiple properties to process at the same time.
